Inauguration — 7.5 MW First Wind Captive Project under Long-Term Lease Agreement
Burj Clean Energy Modaraba (BCEM) is proud to announce the inauguration of Pakistan’s first green captive wind power project at the Power Cement Limited facility. We are proud of our partnership with Arif Habib Group and honoured to have Mr. Arif Habib inaugurate the Wind Farm.
This 7.5 MW wind project, developed under a lease arrangement and financed through a PKR 1.5 billion project finance facility arranged by a consortium led by the Bank of Punjab, with participation from National Bank of Pakistan and Pak Kuwait Investment Company, marks a significant step forward in delivering Shariah-compliant, clean energy solutions for Pakistan’s industrial sector.
This project will enable Power Cement Limited to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels, lower energy costs, and advance its environmental sustainability objectives.
